JAVA
The Java Runtime Environment is a free application that users may be required to install in order to use certain tools and communication resources on CPCC's web sites and eLearning courses. For example, the chat rooms in the Blackboard system will require Java on the student's computer to operate correctly.

JUMPSTART
Short-term instructional certificates designed to give the student entry-level skills.  Most students are also eligible for tuition scholarships.  Currently JumpStart certificate programs include Automotive Maintenance and Inspection, Welding, Basic Web Development, Basic Computer/Network Administration, and Customer Service.  More information is available at http://www.cpcc.edu/certificates/jumpstart/.
