The  Leadership Council provides an opportunity for open discussion of matters which will have significant impact

on the College.  The council provides for the expression of diverse points of view in an open atmosphere and serves

as a major communication link among College personnel for coordinating and communicating planning initiatives and

examining proposed changes in College policies and procedures.  The council is an advisory body and submits its

recommendations to the College Cabinet for action.  Most council members are appointed by the President by virtue

of their position at the College.  The council includes the President of the College Senate, the Chairperson of the

Classified Staff Council and the President of the Student Government Association.  The council chooses three of

its members at-large from the College community.  The Institutional Effectiveness Committee is a subcommittee

of the Leadership Council.
