 |
The purpose of the
Drug-Free College Policy is to maintain a safe and productive teaching and learning
environment and to be in compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 and the
Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989. |
 |
All employees are
expected to perform their duties and students to attend classes, labs, and College
activities unhindered by the substances defined above. The College will establish a
drug-free awareness program for employees and students, and employees and students are
expected to work together to maintain a teaching and learning environment free of illegal

five days of the conviction. |

Any employee who
violates this policy is subject to personnel actions. These actions may include, but are
not limited to, reprimand, participation in a treatment program, suspension, and/or
termination. Each supervisor is responsible for implementing the Drug-Free College Policy
as it relates to employees. |
 |
Any student who
violates this policy is subject to disciplinary action. Such action may include, but is
