Substitutions, and Waivers |

A. Auditing Courses |
 |
Students who wish
to audit a course must complete an Audit Agreement form, get the course instructor's
signature, and submit the Audit Agreement
Registration
Services at any CPCC Campus by the designated time period. Registration procedures and fees for an audited class are the same as those for
regular credit and non-credit enrollment. Certain courses, however, may be designated as
not appropriate for audit. Non-credit courses may not be audited without permission from
the appropriate dean. No student will be allowed to change from an audit to a credit
designation or from a credit to an audit designation: |

- After the first 4 weeks of a 16-week term
(28 calendar days including the first day of the term)
- After the first 2 weeks of an 8-week term
(14 calendar days including the first day of the term)
- After the first week of a 4-week term (7
calendar days including the first day of the term)

A student auditing
a course is expected to attend regularly but may choose not to take examinations and will
not receive college credit. The student must request audit status from the instructor at
the first class meeting.
A record of the audit shall be entered on the student's transcript as AUD with no college
credit given.
Procedures for registering or withdrawing from an audited course are the same as for any
other course, and regular tuition is required. |

B. Course
Substitution |

Course
substitutions for graduation are permitted upon the recommendation of the division
director responsible for the required course. |

C. Course Waiver |
 |
Course waivers for
graduation are permitted upon the recommendation of the division director of the student's
AAS program or the
dean who has responsibility for the specific course in the AA, AS, AGE,
and AFA degrees. No credit hours will be granted.
General
Education requirements may not be waived for any reason. |
