7.08 Tuition and Registration Fee Refunds

Rules
|
|

|
I. Curriculum
|
|

|
A. Tuition will be systematically refunded by the College for
any class that is canceled by the College.
|
|

|
B. The current policy states that 100% of tuition paid will be
refunded by the College for curriculum classes if the student officially
withdraws from the class prior to the first day of the academic
semester. A 75% refund for tuition paid will be refunded by the College if
the student officially withdraws from the curriculum class on or after the
first day of the academic semester through the 10% point of the semester.
Tuition paid and applicable fees will be refunded 100% for classes
cancelled by the College.

C. Refund policies are established by the North Carolina
Community College System, are published in the Class Schedule, and are
subject to change.

|

|
D. When a student, having paid the required tuition and fees
for a term, dies prior to or on the last day of that term, all tuition and
fees for that term may be refunded to the estate of the deceased.

II. Continuing Education (Occupational Extension and
Self-supporting Courses and Seminars)
|
|

|
A. Registration fees will be systematically refunded by the
College for any course or seminar that is cancelled by the College.
|
|

|
B. Refund policies are established by the North Carolina
Community College System, published in the class schedule, and are subject
to change.
|
|

|
C. Self-Supporting Courses and Seminars. Cancellations
received at least 7 business days prior to the start date of the class are
eligible for a full refund. After that, cancellations are subject to the
entire fee. Students who don't cancel and don't attend are still
responsible for full payment.
