Textbook refunds
Obtaining a refund on textbooks requires
- One of the following:
- Cash register receipt
- Course withdrawal form
- Registration form
- Picture I.D.
- New books must be in absolutely new condition:
- No markings
- No erasures
- No soiled spots
- CPCC price sticker still on the books
- Books purchased for current term
NOTE: There are no refunds on texts bought for a prior term. (See Book Buy Back Section)
Refund schedule
This table is used in determining a refund:

| 1 to 10 | full |
| 10 to 20 | 3/4 |
| more than 20 | 1/2 |
Defective books
Defective books from the publisher, purchased at the Bookstore, will be replaced at no charge.
Other refunds
The purchase price of general books and merchandise is fully refundable within five days of purchase, if in new condition with sales receipt.
NOTE: Sales receipt should be kept for possible future use in obtaining refunds.
Vending machine refunds
Should you lose money in one of the machines or receive an inferior product, please go to the Bookstore during normal operating hours for a full refund at the Central Campus, at our Southwest Campus, and at our Levine Campus.
To obtain a refund at North Campus you should report to the Coordinator of Education Support Services in Claytor Bldg. room 101A.
