Off-campus charges

Occasionally, when students attending an off-campus class are unable to purchase their textbooks from the Bookstore, an instructor willing to accept the responsibility is allowed to act as a Bookstore agent and sell books to students at an off-campus location. 

The balance of books and money received must be returned to the Bookstore by the deadline set. 

Note: A division head must approve of this arrangement and will be held responsible for the books taken off campus.


Sponsored students

If students are sponsored by a government or local agency or program, an account for each student is maintained by the Financial Services Group so that students may charge their books and supplies to their accounts.

Process for sponsored students

Here is the process for sponsored students who want to charge textbooks and supplies on their accounts: 

Stage Who Does What
1 Student fills our certification billing form and sponsored desk
2 Information electronically sent to Bookstore
3 Student picks up books and supplies and proceeds to register
4 Bookstore transmits information to the Financial Services Group electronically
5 Financial Services bills the agency
6  Sponsoring agency reimburses the Bookstore
