College Senate

The College Senate comprises representatives from the various departments chosen by exempt, non-administrative members of the area represented.  The Senate  functions under its own bylaws.

The purpose of the College Senate is to represent faculty and professional staff in the consideration of matters related to policy recommendations and policy implementation.  Resolutions from the Senate may be presented to the administration at the discretion of the former.  In all cased the administration will give serious consideration to any recommendations that come from the senate.

The College Senate Education Resources Committee provides funds to support employee development for those employees represented by the Senate. Contact your Senator for more information.
