Leadership Online

Online leadership training is provided free to North Carolina Community College employee through    a program developed with a Technology Enhancement Grant from NCCCS.  The program consists of two courses—one covering leadership practices and one covering management techniques.  Each course contains seven modules that equate to one CEU.  Included in the course offerings is a 360 degree leadership skills’ assessment.  Set up as self-supporting classes these courses require a fee from out-of-state residents and individuals who are not associated with NCCCS.  Students buy their own texts. This self-paced, non-graded program is designed for mid-level managers and individuals who are considering leadership roles at their institutions.  The courses will be available on January 5, 2004.  For additional information, contact Diann Back at 4392.
